The inspiration behind this garment comes from the transitory yet sporadic nature with how a truck travels and progresses from one end of Pakistan to the next, constantly shifting and moving, yet still being viewed as a single congruent entity. The dying of this fabric has all been done in-house and been a true labour of love. The Weaver's Pants are named for the craftsperson who sits at the loom and turns thread into cloth — the foundational act of all textile culture. Everything RASTAH builds begins with someone making fabric. These pants are a direct acknowledgement of that. Constructed from blue washed denim, the pants carry multi-head machine-embroidered artwork across the legs — patterns that reference weaving geometry and traditional Punjabi textile motifs. Cargo pockets are integrated into the silhouette, functional and structured. A screen-printed logo patch marks the piece, and fashion stitching along the hems adds a finishing detail that rewards looking closely. Washed denim has a working quality — it looks like it has already been somewhere, already done something. The embroidery applied on top of it creates a productive tension: decoration on work fabric, craft on utility. The cargo pockets push the silhouette toward movement without losing the elegance of the embroidered detail. The weaver works with patterns that have been passed down intact across centuries.
