The design is inspired by Mohammad Hanif’s book, "a case of exploding mangoes" which is a comic novel based on the 1988 plane crash of zia ul haq. The phrase “ham dekhein gey” holds great relevance, as this ghazal by renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, was sung by Iqbal Bano in a packed Alhamra Hall, despite a strict ban on such gatherings by then military dictator Zia ul Haq. The sleeve design is a collaboration with Lahore based calligraphy artists Zahid Mayo, who hand drew the phrase in Punjabi for Rastah. The front of the hoodie also includes INTERMISSION III custom designed logo, never to be reintroduced again. The unique distorted effect on the fabric is created by garment dying and marble washing the garment using in-house dye formulas to give it a vintage and distorted appearance. The printed patch on the back features two roosters facing each other one of which is in black and white and printed on a different patch all together to give the artwork symbolic layering and texture.
