Overview
Blockprinting is an ancient textile tradition, first practiced in China. The ’Kalamkaar’ sweatshirt/sweatpant presents a youthful reinterpretation of this sophisticated art form. The product boasts a mid-weight feel and refined, hand painted detailing. Each piece is handprinted by a single artisan in Jhang, who block-prints vegetable dye onto accrue terry fabric. The rose adorning the sweatpants is painted directly .
